What Makes Tallow So Great?
-
CLA
CLA in tallow supports metabolism, immune function, and provides anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits for overall health.
-
Vitamin A
Vitamin A in tallow supports skin health, immune function, and vision while promoting cell regeneration and antioxidant protection.
-
Vitamin E
Vitamin E in tallow acts as a powerful antioxidant, protecting skin from oxidative stress while deeply nourishing and supporting skin repair.
-
Great for Skin
Tallow is rich in skin-loving nutrients like stearic acid and fat-soluble vitamins, deeply moisturizing, soothing irritation, and supporting a healthy skin barrier.

Nature's Perfect Cooking Oil
Better than any other cooking fat - beef tallow has a high smoke point (420°F+), is packed with fat-soluble vitamins, and supports inflammation reduction along with many health benefits.
Seed oils, on the other hand, can increase oxidative stress, disrupt metabolism, and promote weight gain, while even quality animal fats like butter contain dairy proteins and burn at high temperatures.
Pure, stable, and nutrient-dense—everything you need in a fat, nothing you don’t.

How To Use Tallow
-
High-Heat Cooking & Frying
With a 420°F+ smoke point, tallow is perfect for searing, roasting, and deep frying without breaking down like seed oils.
-
Traditional Baking & Pastry Making
Used for centuries, tallow creates flaky pie crusts, crispy roasted vegetables, and nutrient-dense meals with a rich, savory flavor.
-
Skincare & Moisturizing
Rich in stearic acid and fat-soluble vitamins, tallow hydrates, soothes, and protects the skin naturally.
good
If you haven’t tried beef tallow as your cooking oil you absolutely should. The health benefits over seed oil is enough alone to switch. I ordered Maple Valley Beef Tallow off a friend’s recommendation and I am so glad I did. The favor it adds to the dish is perfect. It’s been perfect for my cast iron dishes especially for my husband to use. Absolutely a great product and will be ordering it again.
I use this stuff on everything, my face, to fry an egg, my legs, my arms, cook up some broccoli, my lips.. you name it. Smells like what it is which is the only downside. I love the very short list of ingredients. My skin is genuinely better than it was before using tallow instead of conventional moisturizers.
Quality
I only cook with beef tallow because of how healthy it is and what it does for you. We usually only buy local, but this looked good for a brand to try because I was short on my local stuff. The flavor is tasty and rich, full of flavor. I use a spoonful here and there without oil or butter. This has everything I need and the fact that it doesn't burn easily is even better. Beef tallow has a high heat resistance.
